a rock and roll dancer, met by a chancer, he was totaly punching above.
in the chippy a kiss, then married in bliss, an everlasting love.
andy on board ship, dee never quit, whilst raising two little angels.
working hard, keeping a home, there was always food on the table
a break in the leg, a hospital bed, many other complications
through it all she spoke, with a laugh and a joke, with some quite strong medications
fun loving, happy, a glint in her eye,
country music helped the time pass by.
a daughter, a wife, a mother too
a grandmother, a friend, we all loved you

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
